Prayer

At Christ Church there is a group of people who regularly provide prayer after the Sunday morning service. Anyone attending one of these services is invited to come forward to the small side chapel during communion or straight after the service to ask for prayer for any need they may have, be it spiritual, emotional, health or sickness, anything that they feel they need God's help with. All requests are treated in the strictest confidence and people may return for further prayer as often as they require it.

Over the years that Christ Church has offered this, God has met with people in lots of different circumstances and lots of different ways. People have found peace, guidance and strength to be able to deal with anxiety, sickness and other difficult times.

We believe that God listens to prayer, and because he is so loving, will answer our requests in the best way for us. Prayer results in the person praying coming much closer into God's presence, and allows God to meet them and communicate with them at their point of need.

If you would like prayer for anything, just come to one of our 10 a.m. Sunday services and find the team in the side chapel. Alternatively, you can receive a home visit from one of the clergy, who will be glad to pray with you. Fill in the enquiry form
